Coss Manufacturing

In the COSS System, we consider the core product to include the basic business cycle of a manufacturer and include the tools accordingly.  This would lead us from estimating and Bills of Manufacturing (BOMs) to work orders and job costing.  Core components are all included in the base software as to create a well rounded approach to solving the challenges in the manufacturing environment.  Many of our advanced features are integrated to all the modules and carry forward as part of the business cycle, as example the input into a user defined advanced calculator in estimating would be forwarded into the work order that would be spawned upon acceptance.

bullet Estimating
Estimating assists with estimating and quoting for custom and modified jobs and includes support for advanced user defined calculators, quote and hit ratio statistics, Template Bill of Manufacturing and more....

bullet Work-order
Work-orders consist of the work definition and is defined by a process plan.  The process plan represents the Bill of Manufacturing all inclusive; integrating the router, bill of material and all the calculations and allocations linked to the inventory system and more...

bullet Job Costing
Driven by data collection or data entry job costing is capable of providing actual cost with either live update or back-flushing or a combination thereof.  With real time capability and fully integrated into data collection it becomes the center of the tracking mechanism as well and more...

bullet Reports
Extensive reporting from all manufacturing and project managements point of view.  From status and cost reports to efficiency, WIP reports and more...

bullet Preventative Maintenance  (Standard in COSS V5.5)
Preventative maintenance scheduling reduces the risk of lost production and costly downtime. This feature set triggers and tracks maintenance requirements easily and efficiently, right within the production schedule. Inherently flexible, maintenance can be scheduled on a calendar basis, after a certain number of shots or parts, or a combination of both. This supports quality standards such as QS9000.     Fully visible to the scheduling system, the time required for maintenance is directly allocated and scheduled into the workflow as a high priority order for dispatch purposes.

bullet Time & Attendance (optional)
Integrated with COSS or available separately this module collects employee time for payroll and interfaces with ACCPAC Advantage Series, ACCPAC Pro Series, ADP, Ceridian and more.
